Default My new toy .. 1969 Rambler S/C

another toy in the collection.
it is a 1969 Rambler S/C
complete nut and bolt restoration just completed on a 100% rust free one owner car.
Let me know your thoughts

Love it, they are a lot of fun, those AMC 390's are torque monsters. The Hood Scoop on your car is a later model ...... they made the original 500 then decided on 500 more and needed to re-make the scoop molds so they second ones got bigger opening and then the last 500 were even bigger.

Look at the scoop on the first car in this picture, that is an early 1st run scoop, you can see how small the opening is.

very underrated cars. That looks to be a killer resto on a pretty rare car. One owner stuff is great too.

Actually this is the third S/C rambler that I have owned.....the others were not nut and bolt restored....I had one A scheme and one B scheme prior....GREAT CARS !
