What with the Canadian dollar at 78 cents its time to purchase all the Canadian cars again.
If I was to buy a car now with a 30 % plus discount, Now is the time to buy. On the other hand buying a car from the us will be very very expensive PJ |

Remember, our cars are worth more now.
I am so glad that I pulled the trigger on my Sock Eliminator, last September. There is no way that I could have come up with the extra money I would have to pay now.

Looking forward to selling my 1970 R/T S.E. Challenger this spring hopefully to an American with US funds
It will be very tough for Canadians to get a good deal now on a muscle car with the 25% hike on the dollar and 13% taxes if you live in Ontario YUK I gladly sold my 1970 LS6 in November for US funds and on the other hand will be glad to cash in on that 25% hike on the Canadian dollar soon to make even more money on that car

Agree Danny
Time to sell!! The kicker for me is the 13% tax is paid on the big number after the 25% exchange:-( not on the smaller number:-( S###! Ryan

(according to the appraiser) when the loonie was on par with the dollar. Should we not be calling our insurance brokers if our cars values have now risen by 25-30 percent ? |

Most cars that are restored to the buildsheet will cost more to restore than the amount
they are sold for. There are some exeptions PJ |
