Default Lost Car Search

Posting for another..
<span style="font-style: italic">Looking for this 1968 RS/SS 396/325 Camaro.
VIN# 124378N393656. It is grotto blue, black vinyl top with parchment bucket seat interior. Console and gauges. It was sold in 1982 to a 17 year old kid and his mom from DeMotte Indiana. The car was in red primer at the time it was sold.
Finders fee paid. Please call 219-718-2614 with any info.</span>

Unless you already have, it's worth running the VIN through the NCRS service to learn the original selling dealer then you can include it in future search requests which may help someone recognize the car...especially if a current owner ran it already and sees your posted info.
And although we here expect it's an M40 car, noting the Turbo-400 Auto w/ posted info may help too?

Pete, you are correct. The car was automatic.

If NCRS receives two seperate requests for the same VIN, will they inform those seeking info on that particular VIN? This may be an option for reuniting a car with a previous owner.

By the way, the photo was taken in August of 1980. The owner's name at the time was Pete as well
