Default '73 Pontiac Ventura

Found this whilst looking around CL. This is a car that I know nothing about, which obviously gets it's styling from a Nova. Looks to be hot rodded a bit with the od trans and 9". Pretty neat car all the same with the 455.

Always liked the Ventura. This one appears to be very clean.

I had a near identical car from 1980 through 1991 (minus the 455, mine had the durable 350). I put a 100K on the car and it started with 69K miles. Never let me down. Wish I hadn't seen this ad. Now I want it.

Didn't read the ad but was the 455 an option on these cars. Couple years back I past on two 73 GTOs both rust free and complete for dirt cheap I wished I would have grabbed now.

Not on the Ventura. It was 1974 that Pontiac turned the Ventura into the GTO. Don't see many of those around.

I have an all original 71 Ventura available. 307, powerglide, Cardinal Red, Sandlewood interior. Let me know if any interest. I have not started to advertise it yet. Sorry to hijack the thread. I didn't think anyone here was into Venturas.

The 1973 GTO could be had with a 455 but, the 1974 GTO was based on the Nova style and was only offered with the 350.
