I looked into this a little and the mirror isnt bad to get out. They must have used to different materials to bond them in. Mine had a black silicone material and it was tough. The other material comes out by soaking in mineral oil. Mine didnt come loose very well and I should have tried something else. The chrome shop I talked to acted like they would take the rest apart and get me fixed up.
