I like it but shouldn't it have Z28 stripes?

Kurt - written part of ad says it is "stripe delete" not sure if that is correct, but that is what it says.

Neat car but it looks like chassis and engine have been heavily fluffed?

I thought the Z/28 decal stripes was an extra cost option on the LT-Z/28 in 1974 but I do not remember the brake power booster being black from the factory. I have to admit I never really thought these cars were that special but they are starting to grow on me. But not enough to own one.

They were not stripe delete. The rule in 1974 was you either got the Z28 emblems on the fender with no trunk and hood striping OR you got the z28 striping and no z28 emblem on the fender.

The one has the fender emblems, so no striping.

This car has been fluffed and lightly restored. Some original parts got replaced which is odd on a 3,000 mile car.

Nice looking for sure, and I love 2nd Gen Camaros (my first car was a two tone '76 Rally Sport), but that price? No. Just, no. So far, 16 bids though, so at least a couple people really want it.

From the ad:

"If Buy it now price is reached, an 18' Everlite aluminum open trailer will be included, if wanted."

If the mileage is correct then it's the lowest '74 Z I've heard of. I wonder if the gas gauge is properly working? A picture of the cowl tag would've been nice to see. In one of the pictures it looks painted, almost gold in color. I remember a silver '74 Z in my hometown that had black guts with the red seat piping.

How does having every fluid drained for 34 years affect the internals? Will there not be much surface rust from condensation and such? Just curious.

Thanks for the clarification on the stripes......I remember when these came out and the big stripes with the Z28 on the hood and rear spoiler was too cool. I'd have to have them on the car......but then again, I like decals.
