Default Air Cleaner ID Stamp

I'm working on a project for an Oldsmobile air cleaner ID stamp and thought maybe Chevrolet might have used a stamp that is the same except for the code and air filter #.

Air filter number would be the same, it's the same for my 68 GTO as well AC212 . The Application code and PN would be different.

Pretty sure they were printed with a pad printer.

I figured the air filter would fit many applications and yes the air cleaner code would change.
Im not sure what a pad printer is.
