Transmission builder recomendations (200R4)

I am looking to install a 200R4 in Gramma's car (the 455 powered '75 Firebird with a turbo 350 in it). Everytime I look at one of the big name shops on the internet and then do a search for customer reviews I just see one horror story after another.

Are there any tranny builders in NJ that you know of that can build a nice 200R4 that can withstand a 400 horse/500lbft 455? There used to be one close by in Manville NJ that was featured in several magazine articles years ago and had great recomendations but sadly he passed away back in '08.

I am looking for someone within driving distance to save shipping and allow for immediate in-person dealings if there are any issues.
