Very cool, probably overpriced as you've stated, but hard to find unrestored and that clean.

I have collected Hurst wheels for many years now and there are many different versions of them.
I only buy sets that are numbered in sequence that is important when buying them. The trim rings are very hard to find that are rechromed correctly and beware when buying trim rings that are not on a Hurst wheel as they sometimes have been thickened when re chromed and do not fit on the wheel as the space they fit in is made for a certain thickness. If anyone wants to buy a set and would like help prior, PM me

those are 2500 dollar wheels on a good day, unless they are sequential serial numbers ....... it would cost 2 grand++ to make them perfect...and prob never would be. they are seriously pitted....and need a lot of help..
in the last year, ive bought 3 for 50-75 a piece bare, in the same condition..suddenly, they are coming out of the wood work around here at swap meets...i think those crazy number days are about gone..the generation of people that loved those wheels are about gone i sold all the wheels i bought on ebay for less than 300 each...people want instant gratification, and want perfect ones, and for 5 or 6k i think you can buy perfection..unless NOS in the drums..just an opinion...
