Default Can you identify this tire?

Hi All,

Need some help identifying what this tire was originally used on.

Goodyear Power Cushion - 8.25 x 15. Says 4 ply on the side of it and load range B.

Pics below.

Thanks,
Dave

Dave:

Can you provide a closeup photo of the numbers within the red square. They won't tell me which car they came on but they will tell me the date of manufacture

232 = 23rd week of the 2nd year of the decade

Which decade? Unknown (1982 or 1992). The tire was manufactured before 2000. After 2000 they went to a 4 digit code instead of your 3.

AFAIK, DOT was added to the tire's sidewall March 31, 1979 so your's can't be a 1972.

Thanks Lee.

Appreciate the info. Clearly not a production tire.

Best,
Dave

That was prior to the modern DOT timeline. That tire is from the 60’s... I will see if I can come up with where that tire was used and pull the real date on the tire..
