Default 1968 302 mo

In 2016 I purchased a 302 MO block from a shop in Florida. I had been assured the block was good, recently machined, Heads and crank were done. There were no pistons and all parts were paletted and shipped to me. Block ID is V0711MO
My local machine shop finally got around to a rebuild in January and found the block was cracked.
So I am in the process of going after the Florida shop, but in the mean time, is this block salvageable in any way, I.E a bottom end cap and cradle system to convert this to a 4 bolt.
Assuming the later is not available, is this block now junk.
Here is a shot of the magnaflux image.

I would ask YOUR machine shop if indeed it is usable.

I picked up another block right away, actually with a better date code so I am going that route, second block was magnafluxed before purchase so I am good there.
My machine shop was reluctant to advise any repairs on this block using stock caps,so I am reaching out to see what others have to say.
If this block is repairable to anyone, i am will to sell it cheap.

Paul
