Cool car with another crazy looking engine stamp, but appears to be legit. Body needs some love.

My friend refers to these as "hostage note" stampings. The decision to stamp VINs in 65/66 obviously came down before they had developed a stamping protocol with proper tooling in place.

Ha! That’s pretty accurate. I can’t even imagine the variability of a process that’s that uncontrolled.
