Nice clean original car with a 144ci 6-banger and a stick. Feels like a decent deal for $2800.
I think this would make an unreal sleeper. A good friend had a '65 stock appearing Comet with a 347 and 5-speed Tremec...low 11-second car that you'd never expect. Really digging the mini console between the front seats too...neat touch. Link to 1961 Comet auction ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

my Grandpa loved those cars...he had them the whole time i was a kid, until a teenager......i was never a fan..but i wouldnt mind having a slick Gold one..like Gramps...

Kind of has that Thunderbird look. Don't know if a 427 would fit, but possibly a 408 stroker, Tremec, and 9 inch would make a nice sleeper.
