Default '67 Factory 400/2bbl GTO

It's interesting that a 2bbl carb was offered on the '67 GTO as a no-cost option; only 2967 of these were built across the entire '67 GTO line, but nonetheless that's quite a few. Can you imagine being offered a 2bbl, 8.6:1 option 'free of charge' on your new GTO? Evidently the Pontiac product planners were savvy enough to understand that even the GTO customer base contained a fraction of people who wanted the look but not the power....

This car is a mess - I was only intrigued by the interesting 2bbl powertrain (although the original mill appears to have gone missing).
