I am posting this as I would be so disappointed to see this car disappear forever. It is a 1968 Biscayne, 427-385 hrs, M20 or M21 4 spd., posi, am radio, F41, 3:55 gears, Vedora Green and ordered from a little dealership in Waterford, Ontario in 1968 by one of my best friends of the time. We parked beside each other every night at the A&W and the car is sitting in Paris, Ontario at this time. It is very, very rough but at least its there. Another friend owns the car at this time however he is very ill and will never be able to even think about restoring this car. The car had been painted black at one time by another friend of mine and it is still black with the shag carpeting someone put in it. I'm not sure whether it could be restored or whether it would need to be rebodied; I can here the comments already. The good thing is it can be documented by GM Vintage Services of Canada and the Warranty Book and Owners Manual are in the possession of the present owner, which I have seen. I had offered to buy it about 6 or 7 years ago as I thought it would be neat to see our two original 427 cars back together again however I'm too old to take on another car. I haven't spoken to the owners wife to see what her intentions are with respect to same but he also has a 1968 Biscayne with a great body which he told me was a 427-425 hrs car. Don't hold me to that because he never showed me any GM documentation that would prove that car. In any event if someone was really interested I would go and see her or if she allowed I would pass on her telephone number. Before I forget, no its does not have a drivetrain nor is it likely even a roller as it has been sitting in the same place for many, many, many years and no I have no idea what she would want for it or what it is worth. Sorry for the long post; I just would hate to see a real car disappear. I think I read somewhere that they made 25 or so of these in Canada.

I don't know where the car was built, but I expect Oshawa. I remember Doug racing the car with Newbie slicks and cutouts in the eshaust made from plumbing hardware. The car turned mid 13's in the late 60s. It did really well on the street.

Sounds like.Doug Stoner's old car! If so, I believe it was a M21 car IIRC from talking with Doug over the years...
