Sold 1969/1970 BBC Head 3964290

I have a single big block Chevy head for sale. The casting number is 3964290 and the casting date is J.20.9. It’s perfect for a late 1969 or early 1970 car and correct for a low horsepower 396/402/454.

I’m selling just the bare, single head. I will be removing the valves/springs this week. Unfortunately, I know nothing about it but, prior to purchasing the head, I can take it to my local machine shop and have it baked, blasted and pressure tested to make sure there’s no issues if the buyer wants. That will guarantee the head. If the head is junk, I will pay the bill so the buyer is out nothing.
