Default Attention Ignition Guru's

Hi all.
Hope everyone had a great Xmas.
Looking for some ignition advice for my Chevelle ('69 396/350 4 speed) as the MSD RTR 8360 has killed the coil and the module. As all of this gear has been made in China, like most, for years and I don't want to throw good money after bad, I'm looking at changing it out to something more worthy and would like some recommendations if I can?
I was thinking either a 1111498 with a Pertronix set up, a Pertronix Stock Look distributor or, given my Chevelle is a driver, a 1111498 with a points set up.
TIA.
