Default '69 RS/Z Project, Protectoplate, Invoice

I bought some parts from a guy last weekend who also mentioned he had a '69 RS/Z project available. I checked out the car - has had some metalwork on the floors and quarters - looked good to me. It had been painted but frankly I think I would paint it - it has been stored for years with that paint and had some obvious flaws. I believe it is complete (apart) except for the block and possibly the rods and pistons. He was asking $37k but based on our conversation there was a good bit of room in that price. Cool project, good colors. If anyone is SERIOUSLY interested, PM me and I will send contact info. I have zero involvement in this car, just thought it was cool.

Wow Tony, As much as I'd love to find a 69 Z project someday I'm not sure one completely disassembled would be a good start without ever owning one. Looks tempting and must be fairly close by also.

Basket cases are the best place to start. It's all laid bare before you to see what is there. Only surprises are what is under the paint. Great learning opportunity to know every bolt as you put the puzzle together again.

This is how I bought my '67 ss/rs.

It was a complete, driving car before the PO blew it apart for a restoration he never did. I re-assembled it and drove it for several years like this. It has been under restoration for a couple years now.
