Default '70 Chevelle #s SS396/4-sp Project, Build Sheet

It's rough, but the seller claims it still has its original 350hp mill. Originally green on green. Guessing the reserve is somewhere in the $22-25k range.

I'm not an expert by any stretch of the imagination but I've never seen the "Goodyear Tires Mandatory" text on another Atlanta build sheet. Was that an end of the year thing or could the owner request specific tires? Roger Ausley's red 4k LS6 was built 3 days after this one and had Uniroyal tires on it.

I've talked to a few original buyers who told me,back then they requested a certain brand of tire on their newly ordered vehicle.
5 different brands of tires were possible for a 1970 Chevelle Super Sport.
For the most part,Salesmen told everyone they couldn't control what brand the vehicle would receive, but I imagine if a Buyer was adamant,a notation like that would be made somewhere in hopes of getting it.
Especially if some extra money changed hands.

A fellow enthusiast once told me "Green is the kiss of death" when trying to sell a muscle car. I like green myself but have learned he may be right.

I like the green on green. Something different in what seems like a sea of red and black 70s at car shows.

I have see the note for certain tires on build sheets before. Don't remember seeing plastic inner fenders before on an Atlanta build. As far as Green cars they have grown on me over the years.
