Hi Friends,
I have one single NT (Norris Technologies) 14X7 disc brake steel wheel available here. Valve stem code is IF (NOT XT) but it is identical to those. Some say these were Firebird standard wheels, or VN / Van Nuys / LOS / Los Angeles built SS Camaros - there are documented cases... These, I believe, were dated on the rim lip ddmmy and I can see 8019 - the leading digit isn't obvious to me, so my best guess is January X8, 1969 - either the 8, 18, or 28 of January is the likely date if you're concerned. Anyway, a cheaper alternative to the more popular XTs. It was the spare from a car being restored and was shot with a recent and quick amateur black paint job, the spotting is rubbing compound residue. The backside is untouched and original IMO and suggests an original black wheel - so maybe it was a full wheel cover rim? Or from a black car maybe. There are scratches from hubcaps or trim rings or both as shown. Either way, it has a few minor nicks and scrapes of course and would need some restoration work to be perfect, but all in all it is very presentable as shown. 250.00 PPFF plus shipping & insurance if wanted. Cheers all, Anthony |
