Default 55 Chevy 2 door HT, Regal Turquoise

Claims to have all original power train. Nice looking driver quality resto; maybe even better.

I like some of the tri five restomods, but I REALLY like the original cars, and I like original restored cars from this era. Still 265 PG, no PS.

Really nice color. No close up of the trim tag to see if it had a color change. Don' t think it has, as the firewall looks like it could be original paint.

I don't know about you guys, but I just gasp when I see some of the tri-five crap listed on Ebay with prices at or above $50k.

This one at least deserves a close look. Could be a gem; could be a bondo bucket. Not crazy about the undercoating. I would be a possible buyer on it, but am trying to make a deal on something else right now.

Looks gorgeous. If that thing is not a bondo bucket, it sure seems like a fair price at $39K.

I dunno, paint looks like a 30 footer to me... maybe there's a reason it seems "too cheap" ?? Doesn't look like original paint checking, looks more like poor/improper repaint...

Thanks for the enlarged pics. Doesn't look like regular "orange peel" that could be corrected relatively easily.

Looks more like some pitting.

Looks typical for not allowing enough time between coats to flash and gas out. OR, could be paint releasing from substrate from improper application method or incompatible products. Either way, looks like a strip and repaint to me...
