Jerry Thompson Stinger article in Corsa Communique

For anyone interested in the Yenko Stinger history, there is a great article in the March 2001 Corsa Communique magazine on Jerry Thompson and his racing history with Don Yenko. The article contains some interesting stories about Jerry taking Don for an after dinner test ride in his 65 Corvair race car and stories about racing the 1967 championship winning Stinger. Jerry was an engineer at Chevy until 1972 and also worked on the Yenko Vega prototype and a Yenko Citation IMSA race car. He states that when Yenko died they were working on a car to bring to the Sebring 12hr. that Don, Jerry, and Jerry's son were going to race.
