The Motion Models site is still up and growing all the time. He sells some very nice models. There used to be some models of the cars on there but I don't see any now. The only thing I see on the cars is "Motion Models is a wholly owned subsidiary of the famous Baldwin Motion Performance Group, which since 1957 has brought the automotive enthusiast special custom made high performance cars."
This is the site and the email and numbers listed on there; http://www.motionmodels.com/ [email protected], or call 1-800-866-3172 or 1-516-882-0068 from 10 AM to 5:30 PM (EST) weekdays. |

Joels fine & dandy. I saw him a couple weeks ago.
The old site www.baldwinmotion.com was an enthusiast site, it's been removed/down for a while now (year at least). I hold http://www.motionperformance.com on joels behalf. It's active and I update it. I also do the above mentioned site, motion models - which joel likes to see me working on. Joel doesn't like to see me working on the MP site, so I keep my mouth closed when I update it - like I have recently. ![]() shhh, don't nobody tell him. If the webmaster of this site would like to change the link to MP to the current site, that might eliminate some confusion. Also, if anyone would like to help me fill in the MP site I'd like to do that. It's tough trying to get anything out of joel since he downplays a lot of what he did. In the past I only concentrated on the 1970 - 74 Camaros he did (since that's my background). I'd like to better present the Chevelles, 1st Gen Camaros, Novas, Vegas & Full size models. I'd like to do it in a complimentary way to the supercar site. Regards, MadMike |

500MB of space.
![]() I appriciate your help. I'm talking with another member of this board to see if he'd like to help too. Email me offline, I want to make sure credit is given where credit is due. The other thing I don't want to do is be reduntant with this place. I don't believe in reinventing the wheel. I told the other fellow the MP site, while "official" is actually a quasi-enthusiast site. I'm the enthusiast, and I hold mp.com in case anyone else decided to post high performance nekkid wimmins under that domain name down the road. If joel tells me he wants MP.com turned off, I'd have to do that, but he wouldn't say that. I'm also going to try and use the site to help better "define" things. I'll keep that under my hat until I get further along. I believe most of you probably know what I just implied. ![]() Thanks for the welcome. mike |

Mike:
Glad to have you here! I still look in occasionally on the 2nd Gen. board, but it will be easier asking the ?'s here. I'd probably guess there are several people out there with Motion info that they would love to share as well. |

Why not just do what the big corps. do and merge them into 1 colossal Supercar site ? 1 stop shopping for all the right information and views.

Belair 62, I like your idea. Ed C. has some good stuff on his site, but it is very rarely updated. Perhaps some of the more technical facts, VINs, etc. as Casey mentioned could be shown on this site or perhaps w/a link to the page on Ed's site. Just some idle thoughts.
