Try Gardner Exhaust in NY. They are the best Chevrolet musclecar exhaust people. And are board members..BKH

I just put the Gardner 68 system on a and it is perfect. The tail pipes are as original...oval and slashed. They sure know their exhaust stuff .The fit is flawless. The only way they could make it easier to install is to come over and put it on for you !

Default 68 camaro exhaust

Just remmembering back to my 68 RS/SS 396 car I had an early take-off dual exhaust system from a 68 Z-28 (the system came off the car when it had about 100 miles on it and he put side pipes on it.) Oh yea it was a spring of 68 car (Ralley Green) and it exited behind the rear wheels and the end of the pipes were squared (I have yet to see a repo exhaust like this) Thought anyone working on a 68 Camaro would like to know this.

I would call it more ovalled than squared?

Does this Gardner company have an email address? I am considering a chambered exhaust as my SS396 has a May build date. Can anyone compare the sound to a 2 1/2 inch Flowmaster system? I'm told they are extremely loud.

The chambered has a some snap-crackle-pop to it. A little tamer on a Chevelle I think. Not terribly loud in the car..www.gardnerexhaust.com

I too am thinking about a new exhaust. I spoke to Mr. Gardner and he was very knowledgeable and courteous.
