Default Leaded gas vs. Unleaded Gas.

How do you lowmile supercar owners run your cars? Since gas in no longer leaded. Do you have the heads redone? or what? I know there is lead additive but does that do the trick? Just a thought

Yenkochevelle69, you are going to get what is refered to as "new guy post burn out syndrome". It frequently happens from to much posting on this website too soon.

The good ole Bronx. Dunno if you can read the print on the side but they say Jun 69. It was purchased 6/6/69. So she was new and PURDY. Unlike today. See attachment.

Everyone will be different on this one, but I don't use anything on my personal cars, even if I know there aren't hardened valve seats. If I was planning on hammering the throttle I might add a tankful of additive, just to be on the safe side, (its my understanding that aggressive driving causes more heat on the valve seat area, exacerbating the degradation.) But mostly I just figure I'll drive it until the seats give out, then do the proper new-valve-and-hardened-seats thing later, if necessary.
