I have a 1969 Chevelle which appears to have been radio Delete, but has a factory eight track tape mounted under the dash.
Has anyone run across this set up ? |

My 69 Nova has both the factory AM and under dash 8 track. Seems the radio uses the front speaker only. The 8 track operates the two factory kick plate and the two rear deck speakers. The wiring for the whole set up is quite confusing. Martin |

Stefano,
Although I have never seen a car so equipped, from all the factory literature I've read on the 69's, it would have been possible to order a Chevelle that way.

Bill,
The 8-track does have an independent, self supporting factory set up. |
