Does anyone know if the XT code for Chevy "copo wheels" would be the same code for all applicable GM products, Pontiac, Olds.??? Found a full set of Pontiac wheels and they look to be coded possibly XT or XZ, not sure. Thanks
SULLY

I can't answer that for sure but a memnber here recently pulled a set off I believe a Pontiac in a bone yard here in Minnesota. I am now expanding my visuals when I visit the local yards.

Sully,
My 70 Olds W-31 also calls for the *GM* XT. 14x7 HD steel wheel. Also found on 70 W-30's. |

Just found a set of 'IF's (14x7) on a 70 G/P. They're almost the same offset, three bump hub cap mounting like the 'XT's but only cost 10 bucks each. Hollander wheel interchange #813. Found um on my "lunch hour" too ! Sure is nice being a sales rep ! [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/

JRSully;
I am fairly certain the the wheel is the same as long as it is date coded late 69 or early 70. Any other year and all bets are off. Actually for a Nova the range of years might be wider. GM reused codes over the years so XT from 70 might be a steel wheel. XT in 78 might be a aluminium wheel. This might help PONTIAC WHEEL APPLICATIONS

I have had 2 different styles of XT wheels. The correct ones for '69 have 3 tabs for the hubcaps, and the later ones have 4 tabs.
The other difference is in the slot between where the center of the rim is welded to the outside. On the '69 XT's, there are distinct radiused corners. On the later rims the slot is more of an arc. I have also had '69 IF's which are identical to the '69 XT's.
