Hello: I just joined this site and am posting my first question.
I have a 69 COPO RS car that I have not been successful in tracking down its paperwork. It has most of the original parts, but no paperwork. Several previous owners back up its past, but none have any papers on it. I did find a bit of info that I hope will be helpful. A brown COPO RS car just sold on ebay. Its body number is 111141 and the body number on my car is 111140. Weren't these consecutive cars on the assembly line? My car has almost identical options, except for the color ( mine is Lemans blue w/ black top). Can these numbers be considered as partial proof of the authenticity of my car? Thanks for any help. The VIN on my car is about 1430 before the one that just sold.
I will post the exact numbers later tonight. Thanks again for any help / insight that you give me on this. |

Your cars may have been ordered by the same dealer then. You may want to contact the owner of the other car and see if you can find out who the dealer was and work from there.
