Default '70 Camaro questions

Were there any 1970 Camaros built with high back bucket seats? Also, has anyone ever seen a factory installed 71-2 style hard plastic/rubber horn pad (also used in 71-72 Novas) SS steering wheel factory installed in a '70? Looks like 71 parts in a 70 but thought maybe it could be a late production thing, as this car hasn't been monkeyed with since the early 80's. I'm no 2nd gen expert, so any thoughts or experiences?

Well, I finally got it! Supercar Kid (from Pgh) and Supercarkid (from N.J.) are two different posters. I couldn't figure out why posts were bouncinb between the two locations. If someone starts posting as Un Real, I'll really be confused.

I own three 1970 Camaros and consider my pretty knowledgeable.....(I dont want to go near that word EXPERT) My 07E Norwood 70 R/S Z-28 has the HeadRest separate low back buckets and the plastic(woodgrain in this case)horn shroud.....I've never seen or heard of a 70 Camaro using 71 interior trim.....I might suggest 2nd gen Camaro enthusiasts join www.NastyZ28.com ....... I had a 1970 Camaro as well. Lowback buckets with headrests and standard plastic steering wheel center. Never seen a 70 being otherwise..

No on the high buckets, and no on the horn centerpiece.

The parts to return your 70 to stock should not be too hard to find. Good Luck.

The seats on the 1972 and 1973 Camaros are are more of a rounded unit and did not come with head rests. I think thats right.
