There are two figures out there, 201 and 198, the 198 figure is the one everyone seems to think is correct, I could be wrong, ok guys help me out here! [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggthumpup.gif[/img]

Years ago Vinnce E told me he counted 201 from his original records and used that number in some magazine articles. After a recount he changed it to 198. For some reason the 201 number still gets used. (201 is also the number of Z-16 Chevelles built)
Depending on how you count them, some say there are more then 201. Safe thing to say is that there were about 200 built. |

If you go to Ed C's site, he shows 201 ordered and 3 orders cancelled for a total of 198.
