Default Nova guys, HELP!!!

Been working on the Nova hard, but have ran into a small hurdle. I have a rubber mat (in place of the carpet), 2 piece, after market, that came with the car. Does not fit worth a crap. Among other things, is for a manual car, which I have, but has bump for the piece that the console bolts to. Does anyone know of a place to get one that fits, or what to do. Any help appreciated. Try SS396.com I am not positive they have your parts, but for a correct interior it could be worth a shot. Hope this helps.

Speaking of Novas.. I was at a small swap meet today and a Guy had a orig paint Red 1972 Rally Nova with Cragars for sale. auto trans that he said was not orig. He said the Guy he bought it from told him it had the orig engine but didn't have a clue how to check...Lots of aftermarket stuff under the hood and aftermarket floor shifter. He wants 4000.00 for it... I don't know the value but it looked kinda neat with the orig rally Nova stripes and lettering kinda shrinking and cracking..

Tom, they may be a place but we've not found it either. The autos fit a little better, but theres a lot of "cut to fit".They do "wear in" a little if the car sets in the sun a few times. Schonye

I have seen original mats that look as if they were poured into the car they fit so well and aftermarket pieces that look awful. I am going to run into this soon myself but was thinking that A quality heat gun might do what the sun can't and basically melt and mold the mat into the floor pans. Has anyone tried this? Tom, I have A near perfect rear piece from A 71 Nova I bought for parts, PM me if you think you need it.

Hey Charley, take a look at this. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...;category=6172 I sold a 72 SS for 14500 that had 9K miles on it. It was a bucket seat 4sp with tac and guages that was two years ago now look at what a rs is bringing. This is all you fault you need to get out of the Nova market before you drive the price through the roof with that junkie old brown car. Tom,
I sent you a PM on a good, original, rubber mat, let me know if it didn't pan out and we can go to plan 'B'!

I like the part about,"still smells like new". For all you city folks, thats a hog confinement in the back ground. It won't smell like new long! Schonye
