Default MSC Newsletter

There was a newsletter published for the Motion Supercar Club starting in 1968. They had more than 400 members signed up. How many issues were published each year and how many years did the newsletter last? They were all B&W pictures on glossy paper; not the cheap car magazine yellow pulp paper. Thanks.

See if this helps---------I'm missing several issues.----I think they first came out quarterly.,then they made the issues smaller in content and it came out more often----My last MSC membership card was in '73--my first card was '68.I don't have any issues past '70, maybe that's when the publication stopped??---that's like a 100 years ago

I have a couple newsletters from '69 along with the welcome letter (I had Joel sign it at SCR6), the patch and the mylar metallic decals in a Motion Supercar Club envelope post marked in 1969......

Hi Fred: Thanks for the info. They even had "MOTION" on the postage meter. Also included were a couple of the yellow "CARS" magazine decals. I haven't seen that stuff on ebay...

JoeG, I think you'd be my new hero if you'd be so kind as to scan in at least one of those newsletters if you still have 'em. I'd love to get a feel for what they had in them ..or were they just ads?

Thanks

Fhakya,
My wife tells me I'm her "Hero"--every payday

Go to Motion Oldsmobile--The article "Club runs two in '68" is from the front page of a '68 Motion Newsletter.
Similar articles with tech advice and some ads were in every new issue----JoeG
