Default Chambered Exhaust system

I'm Cloning a Motion 69 Camaro and was wondering how the 2 1/2 system would work for me. I made the 427 a bit more powerful than the basic motion cars i think. I have 525 hp 427 with a solid roller cam. I heard it is a bit restrictive but i don't like the sound of flowemasters. any suggestions on this?
Thanks

Bit restrictive is an understatement! I yanked mine off when I finally decided to get serious about racing Pure Stock, and I don't regret it for a second...an easy couple of tenths between it and a decent dual exhaust. the pipe on that chambered is under 2" diameter in a lot of places, which will KILL any kind of power you *thought* you had. And depending how you're cam is setup, it may REALLY hurt it.

If you're not crazy about the Flowmaster sound, but want something that flows, buy the crossflow muffler from DynoMax, buy some mandrel bends, and have a system made. CopoPete did that on his white car, and it sounds and looks KILLER, but runs like a raped ape.
