Default 1970 Camaro Z28 Parts.

Hey guys,

I am finalizing a deal to add another car to the collect. Its a Camaro Gold 1970 Camaro Z28. It has headers, M/T valve covers, and a brand new Holley. I need a set of a NOS valve covers, exhaust manifolds, and correct carburetor. Any leads would be great. Any condition welcomed.

The valve covers are still available from GM, the exhaust mani's are available in repro with the correct part numbers and smog holes, the carb is not too hard to find - call Jeff Dotterer or Jerry McNeish for a fully restored one, just be prepared to pay a little.

Are the parts identical to the originals? I want everything as correct as possible. This car is going to be a show car. Hopefully when completed, it will compete with the cars at Chevy Vette Fest and the Camaro Nationals. I am collecting parts before I send the car out to Jerry. He is actually going to do the restoration. I have to finalize the arrangements there too. The car is not in driving condition right now.

I also need window trim and the trim that sits on the rocker panels. Do you recommend buy reproduction items?

Thanks.

PS. In MCR they did a spread on the York 30 show. A whole host of cars from this site are in the magazine including your Duece. Congrats!

I have a OEM Hurst shifter for a 70 but no lever or rods. It's just the shifter box with date code.
