This car deserves its own thread since it seems like a significant car.
From the April, 1969 Cars magazine. Note the RS emblem and the hood tach. Also the flat hood. |

Side view showing Joel Rosen launching the car for the camera. Yeah--slot mags!

Another front view during a launch by Joel Rosen. That RS emblem has got to go.

Here's the engine. Note headers, crossram, suit and tie.
"The optional dual ram quad setup is a big waste for street use!" -from the article. Car got "8-12 mpg". |

Joel Rosen swapping the rear meats. Caption says they were "L-series Ingelwoods." Yeah man, L-series tires! Wheels look pretty wide, maybe 8-inches?

Here's a nice closeup of the hood tach. Note how it bows up from the hood somewhat. The lower part of the photo is the tach's reflection on the hood stripe.

I'll repost this one since it's such a classic scene. Joel Rosen and car's owner, Ed Simonin, in front the Baldwin showroom.

The crossram picture is from a differnet car, look at the color. It looks like a 68 from the valve covers. They had a crossram Z28 that they took to some of the shows for the 69 season.

Good eye! I completely missed that. Photo was part of the article though.

Interesting placement of the Baldwin dealer sticker.
