Default Opinions on this Buick

Local car in my area. I've seen it and heard it run. What's it worth? Has original 400 w/air. automatic in console. black interior. ok condition overall. not perfect but all there.
Here's the ad.
1967 BUICK, GS400, gray, black interior, buckets, 400 V8, auto, air, factory rallys, super sharp, $7, 995

is it worth 8k? Opinions

Nice looking car. It's not a hardtop (B-pillars) but the price seems right. My impression of the GS Buicks is that of a country club musclecar--plush, comfortable, nice ride, but plenty of grunt under the right foot. Put a set of redlines on it and perform a general cleanup and I think you'd have quite a nice car. (Barring any issues such as rust, collision damage, etc.)

Yes it is a 2dr post car.. I came across some production numbers.. just a little over 1000 GS400's were made in that body style while over 10,000 made hardtop.

I think they look cool, would like to have one. The price seems reasonable to me.

Just over 1000 '67 GS coupes huh? Go for it. You can never have too many cars.
