What are your thoughts on this car? There is no mention of any documentation. Seller says the block is a restamp. It's at over $100K already.

My hat is off to them for disclosing that it is a restamp.

I don't know anything about the car but it is beyond redicules that the seller has his feedback private!!!!!
![]() ![]() ![]() Maybe "one of the Ricks" can tell us if the car is reported as real? (they were refered to that on another site and I thought it was funny ![]()

Here is another one. 2 LS6 convertibles on Ebay at the same time, what are the chances of that? I believe this one belongs to a member here.

beautiful car, admitting the restamp is excellent. im confused on why non stock parts like the dynomax mufflers and hurst shifter would be used on a frame off resto, maybe the guy just wanted to build the car to his personal tastes but with that level of restoration and amount of nos parts it doesnt make sense.

That does look the one from Mecum it was a excellant restoration you had to read the description a few times befor knowing it was a clone. I think it brought 135k plus fees. The real LS6 conv only brought about 20k more.

OK, maybe each car should have it's own thread.. which one is suspected to be a clone? Anyone have any facts or know any history one either car?
