Default ZL-1 Launch... 2/1972

I thought this was a cool shot from Hi-Po-Cars Feb/1972. Not seldom seen in color... I had to share it.
Enjoy!

Well that is certainly one of the most docile launches I have seen him do in recent years. Must be all the practice.

Just wondering if there's been a story written up about this car on the site? Always like to know the history.

[/ QUOTE ]Just ask Ken himself, he still owns the car... By the way, is Ken going to fix that quarter that he smashed at the reunion??? He told me that the car is only new once so why repaint??? I guess he will just leave that quarter as a reminder of what a wheel stand feels like... That was a sweet ride, too bad you came down too hard.. Mark

Nah, he's gonna will it to me and I asked him not to fix it. Kinda like an autograph from the Original Owner.....
