Default Did B/J sell a real Z16 Chevelle?

I seem to remember seeing a real one and a replica on their website. The new promo for the upcoming Muscle Car season features a Z16 smoking the RR tire. And that is correct. My brother had a yellow one, damn I loved that car, but to this day I can't get over the fact that GM did not put a posi-traction rear end in those cars. I know they were 'late in the model year', first time for the rat motor in an intermediate size car, but I've always wondered what the real trivia is behind that insane decision.

And BTW, if I not mistaken that was the exact same motor that was rated at 425HP in the vette.

Sorry, I forgot what the hell I was talking about watching two guys bid over a million bucks for some car.
