Will we ever get these numbers? Did they come out and I was deep in a coma and missed it? Am I the only one that cares? Ed Hamburger said, before he closed the SLP website, that he had sent the numbers to Scott Settlemire for review and they would be published. What happened?
![]() This is info that will be important to collectors one day and I don't think it's asking too much for SLP and/or GM to make these numbers available. And, hell no, nobody promised us these numbers when we bought the cars but it has been a tradition!!! I've beat this dead mule for two years. I will get the answer if I have to go door to door to every single house in the US!!! If Santa can do so can I! ![]()

That breakdown has been around quite awhile. What we need is the breakdown by SS OPTIONS. This is the stuff that had to be installed by SLP. Here's what we need: I've got a blk., 1LE, A4, Auburn diff. CD changer, leather, etc. How many other SSs were made just like this one. It should be pretty rare because the overwhelming majority of 1LEs are ordered with the 6 speed. We know these kinds of things about every collector car ever made and we may need it for these. Who knows?

That would be very cool to find out. The only downside is that everyone will be saying "my car is one of 23 blah blah" with useless breakdowns to the most minute details like floor mats and key fobs.
On that note, my car is one of 234 Sunset Orange Metallic 2001 SS coupes w/manual trans. ![]()

I start door to door Mon. Cookies and milk would be nice. I figure starting in the FL Keys and working my way up should put me in the northern states when it's a little warmer. Open to suggestions if anyone has a better idea.

If nobody here knows I'm sure somebody on one of the LS1 forums or Z28.com has them. My blue, 2000 SS, bilsteins, etc. was one of 25 or so. I can't remember. I'll do some more searching for the old numbers....they are out there. Seems like they were archived on the old SLP site.

Too late to edit so let me add: try www.Chirpthird.com Also, Matt Murhpy at GMMG could probably tell you, and me come to think of it, where to get the numbers. Let me know if you find the 02s! ![]() I'd like to have the 98-01 numbers. Where can I get them? [/ QUOTE ] |

Ray,
Calm down please and rest assured that nobody on any of the LS1 forums has the specific number break-down your looking for. Prove me wrong please! Ed Hamburg may have them, but so far he ain't talking. Neither is Matt Murphy if he has them which I doubt. The most recent edition of the Camaro White Book shows the actual counts for all 98-02 SS cars, However, it does not list specific SLP options. As I mentioned, I would be very much interested in actual SS/Slp option break-downs if they exist. Let me know please.
