The 35 year old "new" crate engine arrived late yesterday. Had a date scheduled with the wife and the kids were at grannys........
First thing this morning, (OK, well after a trip to the head and brushing my teeth) out to the garage to "inspect" it. Some pics here: web page I was told that it was untouched (but who really believes that?) I was surprised when I found all of the paperwork (see above) and even the oil suppliment that shipped with the crate engines. I have a brand new set of canfield aluminum heads, and a used GM aluminum intake, so the only thing I need now is a cam. I want to have the car ready for the October cruisin the coast in Mississippi.
