Wasn't Jere Stahl's 57 chevy from Cordia Chevrolet? I think the late Laverne Benner drove it.

What type of the transmission ? When was the car built? Thank you, Drew Papsun |

The owner did in fact pick up the car himself in Canonsburg with another buddy of mine but the sale went from Yenko to Cordia to the retail customer. The car was downtown that night drawing a crowd..........I'll never forget it, only one in our town in the flesh. That was the only summer the car was ever really on the street. Life after that season was 1/4 mile at a time.
And yes, the Stahl '57 150 Sedan was with Cordia. How about this, absolute truth: that car still exists just as it was when raced. Hell yes I've tried. Cordia, Stahl and Jenkins go waaaaaaaay back. |

I didn't realize all those years that that car (57 chevy) was borrowed from Cordia and went back when Stahl/Benner were done with it.
