Default Goldberg and the supercars

This past weekend I finally got to see the show Bill Goldberg did on Chevy supercars and other rare musclecars.

Hard to read in the credits, but several pictures and quite a bit of the information used was provided by sYc members.

I like his show and the other good one is 'Rides" IMO.. Much better than the quicky overhaulin shows. Yeah, you can nit pick some of the info on the "Goldberg" hosted show, but at least your seeing cool cars. Since this boards main focus is the Chevrolet brands its easy to find some mistakes being made, but I am sure if you are the ultimate Mopar nut, there are things said that counter your ideas. I look at it as a 1 hour show that is spotlighting the cars we enjoy. I can live with a few mistakes...BKH

The folks at Greystone Productions certainly put together some interesting programs, and AutoManiacs is no exception.

Overall I was pretty pleased with the finished "Yenko" segment, and even if a few inaccuracies do make it into production, the Greystone team did take at least the time to get in touch with Warren Dernoshek and Donna Mae Mimms to get the story straight from the key players who are fortunately still with us to share the stories of their adventures at Yenko Sportscars.

Warren contacted me about Greystone's approaching him with the project, and their interest in acquiring some period visuals for the segment.

The original pics for the Yenko segment of the show were courtesy of my brother CamaroJoe's memorabilia collection, and it's the only time any reproduction of many of these images has been authorized in any way. So unless you've been to a SCR, those images should be new to most of you.

I agree with Brian, not everything on TV today can be catered to the small group of die-hard Supercar enthusiasts that frequent this site, so just be glad you've got something at least partially dealing with Supercars on the tube.
