I'm looking for a set of Jay Kline Chevrolet license plate frames circa 1967. Please PM or email any leads or info that you might have. Thanks in advance

Jay Kline used a metal emblem, but I have never seen a frame. Not saying they didn't have them, but I've seen several versions of the metal emblem but have never seen any version of a frame. Are you sure such items exist?

Thanks Joe and Marlin...no, I have no idea what they used back then, just assumed they would have used dealer frames like most others. The car has original paint and there has never been a dealer emblem on the car, so that is also why I assumed they used frames. I'll ask the folks I've met in the area if they can recall seeing frames and will post back anything they are able to tell me.
Thanks again, Mark.

I dont think they had plate frames either. I do remember the metal dealer emblems. Hundreds of them. I bet certain junk yards still have them out there.

I have found a few Jay Kline emblems in local junkyards. Sold a couple to members here. This is what they look like. Earl

Thanks Earl. I would have thought that the K would have been larger like the logo in the POP booklet. Thanks for posting

Mark,
They used the same emblem until they went out of business in the mid 80's. I still see them on the back of daily drivers around town. Earl |
