Default 1966 El Camino

A friend called me today and was telling me about a 66 el camino he knew about for sell. He said the owner claims it has the original engine, which he claims is a 427. I called
however, I thought I would just ask here before I pass on some one of a kind car. Nothing I remember mentions a 427 in a elky but maybe I have missed something.
Thanks,
Bill

Default Re: 1966 El Camino

You could get a 396 in a Custom EL-Camino. I know that you could get 325 hp and 360 hp. I do not know if you could get the 375HP version, I imagine you could. I do know of a Black 67 EL-Camino that was a Factory 427 4 Speed. That was 28 Years ago, and the Car was an Original Owner car. But that was when I lived in Tacoma,WA.
