GM Plant Closings

Here we go........Having to shut down 9 plants and consolidate due to rising Health Care costs ( not the only reason, but a Major one).....As I said in an earlier post, this(in my opinion) is the result of a generation of attacks and unchecked litigation by trial Lawyers against the Medical Services and Profitable Corporate America......The Unions and Management have to share some of the blame also due to the ever changing business climate as it exists today.......GM is being very kind by not spotlighting the root cause of the problem that we "ALL" are dealing with........the rising cost of Health Care due to the Fat Cat Lawyers sueing everyone.......Bring in "Tort" reform before it's too late........
