Default 79 vette L-82 4 spd 12k miles

trying to get an idea of price on this car. dark brown metallic, white leather, L-82, 4 spd, original owner, all paperwork, loaded from factory, cb t-tops etc. my uncle bought this new and drove very little, climate controlled storage sine new, driven once a month, orig tires, car kept on jacks. started and brought up to temp twice a month in winter, brakes converted to stainless a few years ago. he had approached me several times about selling it. ive tried to convince him to take to bloomington gold (40 mile drive) and he just interested in showing the car.

Those '79s are not worth much. I would think you're looking at a $20,000 MAX price for this car. Does it have the original paint? If so, it should be a nice candidate for the Bowtie/Survivor judging. If it were a '78, maybe a 25th Ann. Car or Pace Car, then it would be worth some extra coin. But like anything, hard to judge condition without good pictures.

thanks mosport
that about what i was thinking on it. paint is definately original, i waxed the car every 3 months myself for 5 years, then once a year spent about 30 hours stipping all the wax just to rewax the car, i worked for my uncle in high school. it was during that time i was trying to get him to take the car to some shows. i dont think the car has ever been rained on, it was never a daily driver just a weekend driver for the first couple of years.
