The AM Radio was a $61.10 option, and if not ordered the entire dash bezel is part of the 'delete'. There is no radio delete plate for the 3rd gen Novas.

3rd generation Novas didn't use a plate. Instead, the entire dash (plastic face plate)was made with a molded radio delete.
am radio = rpo U63 and am/fm = rpo U69

I'm assuming you have a '69? Not sure what your plate looks like, but GM did not make a separate plate for the 3rd gen Novas to my knowledge. The GM radio delete dash bezels appear to have a plate where the radio would be, but upon closer inspection, the blocked off area is actually part of the bezel - with NOVA on the center of it. It is not removable, although some people have chopped a hole through some

Do you have a hole in the fender for the radio antenna?
