I saw that when it was first listed. There was a $35,000 buy it now price. A bit high for a "Motion" engine with no paperwork to prove it.

What is the big deal if it was a Motion engine no matter what it is ? Does the fact that an engine was sold at Motion or any other famous speed shop, make it worth more ???

I'd have to say yes,but I'd would want the docs to back the claim up------------And this is with any type of goods where the quality of workmanship , performance and name represents top of the line in a given field---In this case and others you could throw in nostalgia....

I think the stamping looks good. The shadow of the 2 & H likely happenned when the stamping holder was struck and it bounced giving a light impression of the 2 & H when it struck the pad the second time on recoil.

was the C&H letters stamped at a different time than the date code? I notice they are deeper than the rest of the letters except the T at the other end of the letter row.

Pantera

PS: I don't feel that this motor will bring that kind of price Motion or not. Kinda pricy in my opinion.
