Default Questions on '70 Z28 For Sale

Need some help on a couple of questions on this Z28 that I'm thinking about buying. It's a nice RS, Turbo 400, 4.10 car with a very good repaint showing 78,000 miles. It's now for sale by a private owner.

Does anyone have any info on this cars background?

Any thoughts on the trim tag (see picture)?

Thanks,
Paul

That one has been for sale for quite some time but the ad shows the car to be sold. Looks nice and original. I have one very similar except for the color and an LA build.

No way to verify this thought..........but that color combination had to have been ONE of very, very few made on 70 Z-28

I bet you're right Chuck. Over the last 25 years or so, I've never seen another one in that combination. Maybe, Steve ( <font color="red">"paceme"</font> ) would know.

I would have never had the courage to order THAT combination......but in the flesh, with the black stripes and black interior, it was/is an excellent way to pull off the white on a Z-28 !!!!!!!!!
